For students who are blind or visually impaired the ASBUS project offers following services:
1. Support by the ASBUS team: House-hunting, establishing contacts to university lecturers,
preparation of study material, access to other offers of the university (sport, music, other leisure activities), study abroad, etc.
2. Provision of TANIA systems (Tactile Acoustical Navigation and Information Assistant).
3. Integration of augmented information in the TANIA system, relevant to the academic studies and to the individual academic everyday life, such as office hours, schedules of public transportation on the way to the university, etc.
